LEWISTOWN — Geisinger will host a free community document shredding event from 7 to 11 a.m. Thursday, April 16, at Geisinger Lewistown Hospital. The event, held in observance of Earth Day, invites residents to bring confidential personal or professional documents — including bank statements, credit card bills and tax forms — for secure on-site shredding and recycling. Participants are limited to three boxes each. Non-paper waste and garbage will not be accepted.
