Norman E. Harvey, 88, of Lewistown, passed away on Monday, Oct. 19, 2026, at his home.
Born June 28, 1938, in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Herman and Anna May Harvey. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Jermane Harvey; his brothers, Kenneth, Robert, and Joseph Harvey; and his sister, Pauline Williams.
Norman is survived by his children, Norma Robinson, Detrix Robinson, Norman Harvey Jr., Stephon Harvey, Torae Harvey, and Shatime Alhassan; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and his siblings, Adrian, Virginia, and Eileen Harvey.
A proud United States Marine Corps veteran, Norman honorably served as a combat engineer during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle as a member of the Wheels of Soul Motorcycle Club, visiting the gun range, and watching movies and television. A passionate history enthusiast, he held a particular fascination with World War II.
A private celebration of Norman's life will be held at a later date.
Arrangements have been entrusted to King-Barr Funeral Home, 120 Logan St., Lewistown.
