Bridge work pauses, then resumes
From staff reports LEWISTOWN — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announced that traffic flagging on the Veterans Memorial Bridge project will pause within the next week, then resume in late March or early April as crews continue rehabilitation work. Crews have directed traffic around the clock since early March while replacing the bridge’s first set of bearings. PennDOT expects to complete that phase within the next week.
