Barbara A. Nale, 87, a long-time resident of Hershey, passed away on Oct. 5, 2026.
She was born on Aug. 6, 1939, in Lewistown, daughter of the late James A. and Evelyn V. (Gearhart) Bowen.
Barbara dedicated her life to raising her family. She also worked for many years at the Hershey Schools as a lunch aide.
Barbara is survived by her children, Virginia Kise, Rodney Nale, and Betsy Piatnek; son in law, Richard D. Frye, daughter in laws, Linda and Becki Nale; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Kenneth E. Nale; son, Rob Nale, daughter, Patty Frye, and son in law, Reid Kise.
Graveside service will be at 3 p.m. Friday, Oct. 9 Gravel Hill Cemetery in Palmyra.
Hoover Funeral Home of Hershey is handling the arrangements.
