Belief in something does not make it true To the editor: I stand by my comment that if you show me a Republican, I will show you a fool or a liar. The letters to the editor printed May 13 and 14 prove my point. The information bubble that the right lives in fails them in what it does not say in as much as what it does say. When are we going to say ‘enough’ to racism? To the editor: Hot tears rolled down my face early last Monday morning as I read The Sentinel in disbelief. The horrific killing of 10 Black persons over the weekend by a teenage white supremacist was less than a half page story buried on page 5. Interestingly, the news that made the front page is a historical museum that will open in 14 days, two articles of the upcoming primary elections, and another article of a Pa. elected official who had a light stroke. To the editor: In response to Michael Spahr’s letter printed May 11, 2022 I have to ask what is your obsession with the exceeding rare and marginalized trans community? Why must we involve kids in trans debate? To the editor: I’m writing in response to George Fisher’s letter published May 9. Not that I think anything I say will change his mind, he’ll probably just call me a transphobic bigot, but oh, well. Why do conservatives get to decide what’s normal? To the editor: This is in response to the letter that was published on May 11, 2022 by Mr. Spahr. His letter is a perfect example of the “I am right the scientists are wrong” and the “God doesn’t make mistakes” idiotic attitude when it comes to the matter of people who are transgender.
