All of mankind needs forgiveness from God for all have been born as sinners (Ps.51:5, 58:3). There is no one who needs any schooling or education to teach us to do wrong and be disobedient towards God. Our own heart leads us into wickedness and rebellion (Jer.17:9; Gen. 8:21). A call for balanced government

In my opinion, the control of both the executive and legislative branches by the current Republican administration and Congress has accelerated a deeply concerning decline in our nation’s foundational systems and global standing. I also believe there has been a relentless focus on deregulating major industries that has dismantled decades of critical environmental protections, accelerating habitat destruction and leaving public health vulnerable to industrial pollution. The sixth annual Lewistown Country Club Ball Drop was a great success! Perfect summer weather, a good crowd and many ways to win equaled an event that raised nearly $11,000. The money will be used for golf course equipment and maintenance. Thank you for Summer Backpack Program success

Thank you for providing this forum to express appreciation to the Juniata County Community. The Juniata County Food Pantry’s 14th annual Summer Backpack Program concluded on August 22, with 202 registered students, a number not recorded since 2017. We shared more than 8,200 lunches during 402 visits to the food pantry. 144 backpacks, filled with school supplies, were distributed. 92 participants came to our facility all three summer months.
