Shapiro, state police to honor fallen trooper
HARRISBURG — Gov. Josh Shapiro and the Pennsylvania State Police will honor fallen troopers during a Memorial Day ceremony at 11 a.m. Monday, May 4, at PSP headquarters in Harrisburg.
During the ceremony, Corporal Timothy J. O’Connor Jr. will be added to the Memorial Wall as the 105th member recognized. The service will include a moment of silence, rifle salute and reading of the names of troopers who died in the line of duty.
The event also marks the 121st anniversary of the Pennsylvania State Police. The public is invited to attend.
