District officials said the incident occurred on school property. Additional details about the incident or the employee involved were not released.
“The safety and well-being of our students and staff remain our top priority, and there is no indication that any students were involved or adversely impacted,” Superintendent Jen Taylor said in a statement posted to the district’s Facebook page.
Taylor said the district is cooperating with law enforcement and conducting a review in accordance with district policies and procedures.
“We appreciate the community’s understanding, and because this is a personnel matter, we are limited in what we can share at this time,” Taylor said.
