Minor injuries in one vehicle crash
MIFFLINTOWN — Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown responded to a one-vehicle crash at about 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 14.
According to the report, Salem Mohamed, 19, of Middletown, was driving a 2002 Honda Accord eastbound on US Highway 322, Delaware Township.
Mohamed was traveling too fast for the rainy conditions and lost control of his vehicle.
The Accord was traced off the left-hand side of the roadway which caused it to rotate 180 degrees and face westbound before rolling one time and coming to a final rest on the roadside.
Mohamed reported minor head injuries and was transported to Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital by Thompsontown EMS.
The vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene by Geedey’s towing.
Mohamed was cited.
Information sought in criminal mischief
RICHFIELD — Officers with the Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown are investigating a criminal mischief incident that occurred at 9 a.m. Jan. 11.
The police report states that a 50-year-old Richfield man was driving his father’s 2006 Ford Mustang on Lauver Valley Road when an object struck the front of the vehicle.
The driver believed it was a glass bottle thrown from another vehicle.

Woman cited in two vehicle crash
McVEYTOWN — On Tuesday, Jan. 6, Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown responded to a two-vehicle crash on U.S.Highway 522 southbound.
According to the report, at around 10:30 a.m. Carmen Gaston, 63, of Mechanicsburg, was operating a 2014 Ford Mazda going south when she stopped at a stop sign at South River Road.
Police said another driver was traveling northbound in a 2022 Buick Encore. Gaston was crossing U.S. Route 522 to travel onto South Market Street when the other driver, Frederick Dumm, 80, of Nicktown, was attempting to make a left turn and struck the Ford Mazda.
The report states that both vehicles sustained disabling damage. Both drivers and passengers were wearing their seat belts.
Dumm and his passenger, Mary Di Minni, 67, of Wayne, were transported to Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital for minor injuries.
Gaston was cited as a result of the crash.
