Youth cited with harassment

MIFFLINTOWN — On Wednesday, April 16 around 3 p.m. Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown responded to an address on Industrial Circle, Monroe Township, where an altercation had occurred.

According to a report a male youth of Mount Union was cited for harassment with physical contact after striking a Lewistown man.

Mother arrested for strangulation

NEWTON HAMILTON — Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown responded to a domestic report of domestic violence on Wednesday, April 2 around 8:30 a.m on Church Street.

The report states that an altercation occurred between a mother and son.

The unnamed 50-year-old female was taken into custody for strangulation of her 31-year-old son.

Police investigate Lewistown theft

RICHFIELD — On Wednesday, April 16, Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown received a referral from the Middleburg Police Department regarding a theft that occurred in the Lewiston coverage area.

According to the report a credit card was stolen from Kevin Carrasquillo-Melendez, 33, of Richfield. Pennsylvania State Police are investigating.
