Police look for information on attempted burglary

McVEYTOWN — According to a police report, Pennsylvania State Police Lewistown responded to McVey Road, Wayne Township, around 3 p.m. on Thursday, March 6, when individual(s) attempted to gain access to buildings.

When they arrived, officers determined that the suspects found their way into two different buildings through a window and/or a door.

Woman transported for injuries after two-vehicle crash

LEWISTOWN — According to a police report, Pennsylvania State Police Lewistown responded to a two-vehicle crash around 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 11, in front of the Decatur Fire Company.

The police report stated that Keith Geise, 27, of Lewistown, was operating a 2016 Ford Explorer going north on State Route 522 when another vehicle, a 2021 Hyundai Elantra operated by Laura Brought, 59, of Lewistown, was traveling in the opposite direction.

Geise related that he was trying to turn left into the fire company parking lot while Brought stated that Geise turned in front of her causing them to collide.

She stated she did try to swerve but was unsuccessful.

Both vehicles sustained disabling damage and were towed from the scene by Parson’s Towing.

Brought sustained suspected minor injuries and was transported to Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital by FAME EMS.

Geise related no injuries. He was cited accordingly.

Juveniles face charges after involvement in fight

MILROY — Pennsylvania State Police Lewistown responded to a report of a fight on Broad Street, Armagh Township, around 6:40 p.m. on Tuesday, March 11.

The police report stated that three juvenile males, ages 13 and 15, were engaged in a mutual fight and have been cited with disorderly conduct through District Court.
