Thoughts on the death penalty When Gov. Shapiro was sworn into office, he put his left hand on a Bible and raised his right to take the oath. That was good. But does he read and know what’s inside the Bible? Does he believe the Bible? As I listened to the news this past week, I got the impression that our governor does not read the Bible. He wants to do away with the death penalty for those persons that have killed another person. This is wrong.
