From Staff report HOLLIDAYSBURG — Every time the Mifflin County Huskies manufactured some runs, Hollidaysburg had an answer. Leading by a slim 4-3 margin in the top of the seventh inning, Mifflin County posted a two-spot which proved to be the difference on Thursday afternoon. Piper Specht’s two-run home run in the seventh gave the Huskies some breathing room in a 6-4 opening round victory in the District 6 Class 5A softball playoffs. Brown tossed the first four innings, allowing one hit and striking out two and walking three.
