MOUNT UNION — The Inter-County Conference once against belongs to the Mount Union Trojans. The Trojans continued their torrid play — eight-straight wins — on Tuesday by blowing out Everett 7-1. Leading by a slim 4-3 margin in the top of the seventh inning, Mifflin County posted a two-spot which proved to be the difference on Thursday afternoon. Piper Specht’s two-run home run in the seventh gave the Huskies some breathing room in a 6-4 opening round victory in the District 6 Class 5A softball playoffs.
