Thanks to all those who helped To the editor: I am so happy to thank God and everyone who helped or donated to our project because our 49th Annual Meat Canning Project was a success. We canned 34,000 pounds of chicken, which produced 23,149 cans of product. We have been able to can a total of 792,351 cans of meat since our beginning in 1974. May God bless and keep all you have supported, and all who have received these cans. In March, we will be distributing 96 cases of chickens to our local organizations.
