Deadline approaching for theatre camp registration

SELINSGROVE - Registrations are now being accepted for middle and elementary school ages for the GENEROO organization's theatre camp.The deadline is July 8. The camp is being held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. July 11 to 16 at The Degenstein Theatre at Susquehanna University.The cost of the weeklong camp is $25 per camper. Busing will be provided for western Snyder County campers daily, with pick-up at West Snyder Elementary School and Midd-West High School's Route 522 lot. ‘Let Freedom Ring’ concert set for Friday

Potter’s Field

An iron gate marks the entrance to the cemetery, owned by Mifflin County and located in Derry Township, that holds nearly 300 graves of local people who died with no family. Although the graves lack headstones, a list of some of those buried in the Potter's Field cemetery, some with names and some listed only as "tramp," can be found by the entrance gate.
