Shooting on Spruce St.

LEWISTOWN–Lewistown police are investigating an attempted homicide that occurred at approximately 5 p.m., Tuesday, on South Spruce St. According to the police report, Dwayne Jones, 46, suffered a gunshot wound near apartment 14A on South Spruce St. and was transported to Geisinger Lewistown Hospital for treatment. Officers were assisted at the scene by FAME EMS and Pennsylvania State Police.
