ALTOONA — It took the Altoona Curve more than two weeks to string together back-to-back Eastern League victories. Winning that third game in a row will now take a bit longer. The Curve had their two-game winning streak snapped by visiting Portland on Sunday afternoon. PORT ROYAL — Gregg Satterlee dominated the late model feature Saturday night at Port Royal Speedway for his first win at the track this season. Satterlee, of Indiana, Pa., had two-runner-up finishes to start 2026. His 25th career speedway win was worth $4,000. “We’ve had a good car all season so far,” Satterlee said. “We kept things going tonight. MILLERSTOWN — Juniata track and field competed at Greenwood on Thursday. The Juniata girls lost to Greenwood 96-45. The Juniata boys fell to Greenwood 94-56. The top scorers for the girls included Willow Aurand with a second-place finish in the 100 hurdles at 19.52 seconds for a personal best.
