Altoona falls in series finale to Sea Dogs
ALTOONA — It took the Altoona Curve more than two weeks to string together back-to-back Eastern League victories. Winning that third game in a row will now take a bit longer. The Curve had their two-game winning streak snapped by visiting Portland on Sunday afternoon. Portland’s Hayden Mullins scattered two hits, struck out six and walked one over the first three innings as the Sea Dogs built a 5-0 lead and hung on for a 5-3 victory at Peoples Natural Gas Field.
