HALIFAX — Halifax held off East Juniata in girls basketball action on Monday, 41-38.

EJ’s Madison Snyder had a team-high 12 points as she drained four three-pointers. Landyn Cramer tacked on nine points. Kennedy Seigler-Lewis and Makaylyn Peters each had six points.

EJ had seven treys in the road contest.

For the Wildcats, Lauren Sharbaugh tallied 15 points and teammate Bebe Roland added 11.

Halifax hit five threes in the ballgame.

The Tigers led at halftime, 26-23, before Halifax stormed back.

Halifax was 8-for-10 at the charity stripe and EJ was 3-for-4.

Next, EJ (1-1) hosts Midd-West on Wednesday. Halifax (1-0) travels to Susquenita on Thursday.
