To the editor: Is everyone happy in America? After Obama and under President Trump, we all enjoyed lower gas prices, a good economy, more secure borders, a higher standard of living, good foreign policy, low inflation and no energy crisis. What are the facts on kids in cages?

To the editor: This is in response to Mr. Sellers’ letter published on July 18 . Mr. Sellers, you are the one that needs to get your facts right, not just about the photographs of kids that were detained by Trump’s administration. Back to those kids. To the editor: What does it mean to be truly “born again?” I ask this because I have heard over the years many who claim to be “born again” and understand it to be “asking Jesus into our hearts,” “making decision for Christ,” or walking an aisle and saying a prayer and all is okay. State should make payments to residents

To the editor: Prices are going up and up, but House Majority Leader Kerry Benninghoff and the state GOP won’t take action to help ordinary Pennsylvanians. Pennsylvania State House candidate Robert Zeigler supports the Pennsylvania Opportunity Program bill, HB 2531, which would use American Rescue Plan money that Pennsylvania already has to give $2,000 directly to families with incomes of less than $80,000. Gun law change increased shootings

To the editor, A recent letter to the Sentinel suggested there is a correlation between abortion (lack of respect for life) and mass murders in the United States. Seventy other countries including all of the world’s developed countries allow abortions on demand. None of them have the number of mass killings that occur in the United States. Since 2004, the U.S. has been number one in the world in mass killings. There is no correlation between abortion and mass killings.
