Grand opening ushers in new season
MIFFLIN — The first sign that the Tuscarora Academy Museum in Mifflin is ready for another season isn’t the open doors or the first visitors stepping onto the brick pathway. It’s the quiet work that happens long before the public arrives — the mopping, dusting, polishing of glass cases and clearing of cobwebs inside Juniata County’s oldest standing educational building.
