Nittany Knights set for Music Picnic Series

STATE COLLEGE — The Nittany Knights will take the stage June 14 as part of the 2026 Music Picnic Series hosted by South Hills School of Business & Technology.

The free concert will begin at 6 p.m. at the school’s main campus, located at 480 Waupelani Drive in State College. Doors will open at 5 p.m., and the performance is scheduled to continue until 7:30 p.m.

The event is the second installment of this year’s Music Picnic Series.

“We are excited to bring our signature brand of high-fidelity barbershop back to the stage,” said Trish Andriaccio of the Nittany Knights. “This series is not just a concert, but a celebration of community connection through music, designed to thrill long-time fans and introduce new audiences to the joy of harmony.”

According to organizers, the performance will include traditional barbershop selections, a tribute to the nation’s upcoming 250th anniversary and a barbershop arrangement of a popular song by the rock band Queen.

The concert will be held indoors. Food and refreshments will be available for purchase from Dogs on the Run, a local hot dog vendor.

Admission is free. Organizers said ample parking and restroom facilities will be available on site.

Additional information about the Music Picnic Series is available by calling 814-234-7755 or visiting the school’s website.

Starting at $2.99/week.
