Mount Nittany Health to host Community Day
STATE COLLEGE — Mount Nittany Health will host its second annual Community Day on Saturday, May 2, at its Toftrees location.
The free, family-friendly event will run from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 164 Greenview Drive and will feature interactive activities focused on health and wellness for all ages.
Planned activities include a plush toy clinic, touch-a-truck experience, garden rock painting, therapy dogs, car seat safety checks, a Jared Box Project activity and an orthopedics obstacle course. New additions this year include face painting, a caricature artist and a healthy snack spinning wheel.
Organizers said last year’s event drew more than 500 attendees, including more than 200 children, and reflects the organization’s continued effort to promote family health and community engagement.
