2 injured in early morning blaze

From staff reports
MIFFLIN — Two residents were injured in a residential fire early Wednesday morning in Milford Township, according to emergency responders.
At approximately 4:33 a.m., first-alarm units were dispatched to a residence on Cabin Lane for reports of a structure fire, according to emergency communications. Callers reported the house was on fire and were instructed to evacuate.
First responders arrived to find a modular double-wide home with heavy fire showing on the A-side of the structure.
Fire crews initiated an exterior water supply and deployed hose lines to begin fire attack operations. Additional units established a water shuttle system to support firefighting efforts, with tanker trucks rotating to the scene. A fill site was established in the Soaring Heights area.
Officials said both occupants were accounted for. Firefighters later transitioned to defensive operations as conditions deteriorated.
The Mifflintown Hose Co. stated in a release that extensive overhaul operations were conducted after the fire was brought under control.
Both residents were transported for medical treatment. Their conditions were not immediately available.
Multiple fire and emergency medical units responded to the scene, along with Pennsylvania State Police and the American Red Cross.
