Harassment charge filed against Lewistown man

MCCLURE — A 21-year-old Lewistown man was charged with harassment involving physical contact after Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown responded to a call at about 9:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 28, on Old Stage Road in Decatur Township.

According to the report, troopers located the victim, a 21-year-old McClure woman, and the man at the scene.

Simple trespass charge filed against Lewistown man

MIFFLIN — A 36-year-old Lewistown man was charged with simple trespass after Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown responded to a report at about 12:47 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 22, of a vehicle trespassing along Creek Road in Tuscarora Township.

According to the report, the man did not have permission to be on the property. He was cited by troopers.

Welfare check leads to DUI, fleeing charges

MIFFLINTOWN — Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown were called at about 5 a.m. Friday, Jan. 2, to conduct a welfare check on a man in a gray 2003 Toyota Corolla parked at 33 Stop Plaza Drive in Fermanagh Township.

According to the report, the driver fled the scene. Troopers later charged Brian Esh, 39, of McVeytown, with driving under the influence and fleeing the scene.
