Donations sought for benefit auction

LEWISTOWN — The LUMINA Center is soliciting donations from the community for its benefit auction, which will be held at 8:30 a.m., March 7.

Call (717) 242-2888 or (717) 247-8430 or email execdirector@lumina-center.org by March 2 for information on how to donate by March 2. Donations will not be accepted after March 4.

Historical Society program on Dorcas Buchanan rescheduled

LEWISTOWN — Due to the weekend winter weather forecast, the program sponsored by the Mifflin County Historical Society, “The Life and Times of Dorcas Buchanan” by Cate Barron, has been rescheduled for 2 p.m., Sunday, March 15, 2026 at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, Lewistown. The program was originally scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 22.
