Injury reported at Penelec substation in Lewistown
LEWISTOWN — Authorities are investigating an incident that took place Monday at the Penelec substation in Lewistown. Mifflin County Regional Police received a report of a possible electrocution at 12785 Ferguson Valley Rd. at 7:33 a.m. An individual came in contact with electrical power lines and was given aid at the scene. The victim was initially taken to Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital for treatment. The incident caused power outages affecting thousands of customers in Mifflin County.
