‘When do you put up your Christmas tree, and why is the time right to do so?’
Tim Clark, Lewistown<br> “As soon as Halloween ends. My house looks like a Christmas factory exploded, so if I am going to go to all that work, I am going to enjoy it for as long as I can.”
Mark Conner, McVeytown<br> “I put it up when I get back from deer camp, in the middle of next week. I do it then, so I can head back to camp the following week if I’m not successful the first week.”
Pamela Kanagy, Enola (formerly of McAlisterville)<br> “I typically put it up the day after Thanksgiving. It’s always been a family tradition to do it then.”
Jacqueline Malocu, Millerstown<br> “Our tree usually goes up right after Thanksgiving. We like to enjoy a relaxed holiday of giving thanks and then kick off Christmas celebrations with tree day. We go to a local tree farm as a family.”
