Lion’s club members from around the region met Sunday for their final meeting of the Lion’s year. After a brief meeting, they packaged about 100 backpacks for summer programs. Each backpack, embossed with the Lion’s logo, was filled with five single-serve mac-n-cheese packages, five books, a small bag of school supplies and a pack or two of hockey cards from the district card drive.
