Herbert C. Stull
Herbert C. Stull, 96, of Lewistown, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 8, 2026, at William Penn Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.
Born Jan. 1, 1930, in Lewistown, he was the son of the late Herbert E. and Katherine (Burnett) Stull. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Betsy (Coit) Stull; his brothers, Jack, Chas, Donald, and Larry Stull; and his sister, Delores McGowan.
He is survived by his sister, Karen Barber and her husband, Bob, of Lancaster, along with many cherished nieces and nephews.
Herb dedicated 41 years of service to General Electric, where he served as Supervisor of Industrial Engineering before retiring in 1989.
A member of Lewistown Presbyterian Church, Herb lived a life marked by service, fellowship, and a deep love for animals. An accomplished dog trainer, he raised and trained dogs for many years and served as president of a dog training kennel in Erie. He was also a founding member of a local church in Erie and enjoyed the friendships and camaraderie he found as a member of the Rolling Rock Club.
A private graveside service will be held at Mt. Rock Cemetery.
