Library closed for holiday today

LEWISTOWN — The Mifflin County Library will be closed on today in honor of Presidents Day. Normal operating hours will resume on Tuesday, from noon to 7 p.m.

Free prom dresses are available

REEDSVILLE — Church Hill United Methodist Church, is hosting Cinderella’s Closet, which offers free gowns for those going to the prom, formal events or other special dances.

The closet offers close to 300 gowns at no charge. There also is a small selection of wedding gowns available.

Cinderella’s Closet is located at 199 Woodland Circle, Reedsville. Due to safety measures in place for COVID-19, viewing and trying on dresses is by appointment only. For more information or to make an appointment call Timi Narehood at (717) 348-1170.
