PennDOT centers to close for Juneteenth

YEAGERTOWN — All Pennsylvania Department of Transportation driver’s license and photo centers, including the full-service center in Harrisburg, will be closed June 19 in observance of Juneteenth National Freedom Day.

PennDOT noted that many driver and vehicle services remain available online, including driver’s license and vehicle registration renewals, address changes, duplicate licenses and IDs, REAL ID pre-verification and driver exam scheduling.

Online services are available 24 hours a day at PennDOT’s Driver and Vehicle Services website.

PennDOT also reminded residents that a REAL ID-compliant driver’s license or another federally accepted form of identification, such as a passport, is now required for domestic air travel.
