¯ DUI View on Alcohol — On Jan. 11, at 2:06 a.m., Tony Jones, 59 from Baltimore, MD, was arrested on Hawstone Rd/Kangaroo Dr.

¯ Crash — On Jan. 20, at 5:29 p.m., a crash occurred as a 2006 Peterbilt Kenworth was traveling southbound on Industrial Park Rd, making a right turn onto W River Rd, Walker Township. As the vehicle was turning right, the vehicles trailer did not make the turn and struck the guide rail which caused to guide rail to end up in between the set of rear tires on the passenger side of the trailer, The guide rail had to be cut in order for the vehicle to complete the turn. The guide rail end sustained damage. The vehicle sustained minor damage to the trailer. The operator of the vehicle was uninjured. The operator was not cited as a result of the crash.

¯ Crash — On Jan 9, at 10:00 a.m., a crash occurred as unit 1 was traveling westbound in the area of 400 W. Main Street, Thompsontown Borough. As unit 1 was traveling westbound in this location, unit 1 exited the westbound lane and struck four mailboxes. Unit 1 then left the scene and continued in an unknown direction. Unit 1 and Operator 1 are unknown at this time.

¯ Harass Physical Contact — On Jan. 22, at 5:46 p.m., a domestic disturbance was reported to the Pennsylvania State Police Lewistown, on Crestwood Ln, Decatur Township. Both arrestees were arguing over a vehicle. Christy Brown, 43, of Mcclure, and Angelleigha Kearns, 27, of Lewistown. Brown had shoved Kearns several times and Kearns had shut the vehicles door on Brown. Both actors were cited with harassment through MDJ Reed’s Court.

¯ Harass Physical Contact — On Jan. 22, at 7:16 p.m., police were dispatched to a domestic disturbance on Front Dr, Wayne Township. Upon further investigation it was discovered the both Victim/Arrestees had made unwanted physical contact with each other. Roy Spencer, 54, from Mount Union, Janet Sabatino, 57, from Mount Union. Both Arrestees were cited through MDJ Miller’s Court.

¯ Crash — On Jan. 20, at 3:41 p.m., Anabel Rivera, 49, of Port Royal, was traveling on Nelson road approaching the intersection with William Penn Highway, Walker Township in a 2008 Mercury Milan. Nathan Swailes, 18, of Mifflintown, was traveling westbound on William Penn Highway. As Rivera approached the intersection with William Penn Highway, Rivera stopped at the stop sign. Rivera traveled into the intersection to proceed straight onto W River Road. As Rivera entered the intersection. Rivera struck the passenger side of Swailes’ 2000 Doge Dakota. River’s vehicle sustained disabling damage to the front of the vehicle. Swalies’ vehicle sustained minor damage to the rear passenger side of the vehicle. Both operators and passengers were uninjured and wearing seatbelts. Rivera was cited for VC3323, Stop Signs and Yield Signs.

¯ Harass Communication — On Jan. 5, at 11:48 a.m., police received a complaint of harassment by communications. James March Wolfe III, 29, of Mifflin, sent threatening emails from Mifflin County Correctional Facility. Charges are being filed through District Court 41-3-02.

¯ Theft all Other — From Sept. 10 to Dec. 1, at 10:57 a.m., on Main St., Mifflin Borough, police responded to the report of a stolen registration plate. It was related that the plate was stolen from the involved vehicle between 09/10/20 and 12/01/20. The registration is Pennsylvania registration LMF6892. ¯ Crash — On Jan. 22, 6:58 p.m., a crash occurred on Route 333, Delware Township, near the address of 24238 Route 333, Delaware Township. Route 333 is a two-lane paved state highway. This crash occurred as Timothy Waite, 53, of McAlistervile, was traveling east on Route 333. Jason D. Goodling, 43, of McAlistervile, was parked partially in the east bound travel lane. Goodling truck a deer prior to this crash.

¯ Criminal Mischief Under $1000 — On Jan 11, at 8:15 p.m., police responded to 36 Poplat St, Kistler Borough for report of Criminal Mischief. Through investigation it was determined a stray pellet from a pellet gun, punctured a swimming pool. No charges were filed at the request of the victim.

¯ Crash — On Jan. 21, at 10:37 p.m., a crash occurred as a result of operator 1 hitting gravel and losing control. A 2008 Subaru Legacy went off the right side of the roadway striking the embankment at the 1 o’clock position. Operator 1 was not injured. The vehicle received disabling damage. The vehicle was towed from the scene by Parsons Towing.

Lewistown Police Department

¯ Possession of Paraphernalia– On Jan. 20, at 11:30 p.m., Lewistown police officers were in the area of 209 W Third St searching for a wanted person. Officers had observed the male exiting 209 W Third prior to him fleeing from police. Officers went to 209 W Third St and spoke to resident Cindy Guthridge about the possible whereabouts of the male. While speaking with Guthridge, officers observed drug paraphernalia in plain view. The items were seized and Guthridge was subsequently charged with possessing drug paraphernalia.
