Hide-n-Seek Daycare

The vision at Hide-n-Seek Christian Daycare is to love, nurture and help raise children in a manner that will prepare them to step into the future and into their unique, individual roles. Their motto, “Child care that keeps on caring,” is a strong testament to what they do. Children are provided with encouragement, guidance, and developmentally appropriate activities that will challenge them intellectually, socially, physically, and spiritually. At Hide-n- Seek Christian Daycare, academic preparation and strong values go hand-in-hand. Hide-n-Seek’s Christian foundation is evident throughout the center and is the initial building block, along with the PA Early Learning Standards, used in lesson plans starting as early as infancy.
Hide-n-Seek Christian Daycare is licensed by the state through the Department of Human Services and is a Star 4 participant in Pennsylvania Keystone Stars. The center services over 65 children ages birth through school age, with highly qualified staff that remain up to date on the best practices in early childhood education. Hide-n-Seek Christian Daycare offers full-time and part-time care. They offer a before-and- after school program during the school year for kindergarten through 5th grade. In the summer months, when school is out, Hide-n-Seek runs an exciting summer camp for school age children. The days are highly active with children having a variety of clubs and interest areas to choose from, in addition to weekly field trips and water activities.
Hide-n-Seek holds one of several grants in the Mifflin County area for Pre K Counts, providing quality preschool programming for children ages 3 and 4. The Pre K Counts program prepares children for kindergarten with strong literacy and math instruction. The Pre K Counts program runs on a school year schedule, from September through May.
