Homemade ice cream is a welcome summer treat
Hello from the kitchen! As August moves along quickly we can’t forget to enjoy our summer treat of homemade ice cream! I have a couple recipes for ice cream but I tend to dump and stir till it’s a good mixture. If you don’t have an ice cream maker, there are some good brands in the stores. I use an ice cream attachment on my mixer. As a child we always had vanilla ice cream cranked by my older siblings. Thank goodness I was too small to run the crank! My dad would bring ripe bananas home from the store where he loafed! Put that on a big bowl of ice cream and we were happy kids! ...
