Red wave overcome by Democrat turnout

To the editor: The red wave has become a large stain on conservative sleeves. In that many of the critical 2022 races were separated by less than 2%, it is suspicious but proves nothing. It most likely means more Democrats voted than Republicans. It does not mean the majority of the population is happy with the outcome, only the majority of those who voted. This may become problematic, but nonvoters missed their chance to change our future and now, have no say. To the editor: On Nov. 8, 1895, Wilhelm Roentgen discovered a new form of radiation that would change the face of medicine forever, the Roentgen ray or X-ray. For the first few decades, X-rays were used for diagnosing skeletal abnormalities and, eventually, for radiation therapy. Since then, radiology and our patients have benefited from the more advanced use of X-rays with computed tomography and the invention of MRI and ultrasound. To the editor: On behalf of the members of the Mifflin County High School marching band, band parents, MC Music Boosters and the band staff I would like to thank local media outlets and the people throughout Mifflin County who have supported the MCHS marching band this fall. To the editor: Here I sit in the safety of my living room, watching Fox News, listening to their reports of what is happening in the Supreme Court (Roe V. Wade). My simple little mind simply can’t comprehend what is wrong with the equally simple minds of so many Americans. God created each and every one of us. He gave us a beautiful world in which to live. A different view on man’s self-control

To the edtor: When I hear what is being taught and preached in Christian churches I have to believe that they are man centered and not God centered in their doctrine. They picture man as being in control because of his free will and present God as not being able to cause man to do what he doesn’t want to do. They do not preach against sin and teach that man is basically good and they don’t have to fear God because He loves them. When I look to God’s word I find a completely different picture of man.
