Egg hunt in McAlisterville: Fayette Area Lions Club, 158 Lions Den Drive, McAlisterville, hosts Easter egg hunt at 10 a.m., Saturday. Meet in the parking lot. Kids up to and including 6th grade are encouraged to participate.
Egg hunt in Thompsontown: Thompsontown Easter Egg Hunt, sponsored by Thompsontown Event Committee, will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Ambulance Building, 62 State St. Prizes awarded in age groups: up to 4, 5-7, 8-10. For more information, search for Thompsontown Events on Facebook.
Egg hunt in Richfield: The Richfield Women's Club's Annual Easter Egg Hunt is set from 12 to 2:30 p.m. Friday at Basom Park, 6972 Heister Valley Road, Richfield. The Easter Bunny will arrive by fire truck at 1 p.m. Food items for purchase, including homemade soup, hot dogs, nachos and cheese, barbecue, chips and a variety of baked goods. Easter egg hunt at 2 p.m. for age groups 1 year to 6th grade. Rain or shine.
Egg hunt at Christ's United Lutheran Church: Community Easter egg hunt for children up to age 12 starting at 1 p.m. Saturday, Christ's United Lutheran Church, 13765 Old Turnpike Road, Millmont.
Egg hunt in Malta Park: Easter Egg hunt will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Malta Park, Malta Park Road, Granville. The Easter Bunny will be hopping by for photos. A thousand eggs will be hidden, with cash prizes as well as lots of children's activities.
Downtown Discovery Contest: Downtown Discovery Contest continues through Monday, April 1. In downtown Lewistown. Children can hunt for eggs hidden in the windows of downtown businesses. Entry forms are available on the front of the Historic Courthouse and at The Crooked Shelf Bookshop. Completed forms may be returned to the mailbox on the porch of the Historic Courthouse. Soup, baked goods and flower sale: Thompsontown Fire Co., 55 State St., Thompsontown, hosts a Soup, Baked Goods and Flower Sale from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday.
Connie's Honor Easter Flower Sale: Connie's Honor Easter Flower Sale will be held Friday and Saturday, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Get your flowers at McLaughlin Pharmacy, 122 Carriage Lane, Mifflintown. Proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society.
Sprints action at Speed Palace
