Trump does many things that are rather ungodly

To the editor:

My goodness, the letter to the editor in Saturday’s paper left me shaking my head. Donald Trump was not voted into office by a church or a “God.” He was elected by a system that allowed him to win with 3 million fewer votes than his opponent.

Donald Trump took the oath of office to uphold the Constitution of the United States. He mocks it every chance he gets.

Just take a look at the bigly, beautiful tax cut the wealthy received. Then, he tells the rest of us to be patient with the tariffs he places on countries, that in turn, jack up the prices of consumer goods.

Donald Trump hires men and women who do not understand the government. Then, he gets angry and fires them (actually, he does not fire them; someone else does that for him) when they try to do the right thing for the American people.

At this time, the number of lies credited to Donald Trump is over 10,000 and climbing. This does not appear to be something “God” would be in compliance with supposing “God” is giving Donald Trump direction.

When the United States government separates children from their parents without a plan to track them, that is heartless, stupid and wrong to do that to families trying to have a better life for themselves. America used to be a shining light in the world, but not since Donald Trump decided to be a reality TV president. What worked on TV does not work for government.

As to the many disasters — floods, tornadoes, fires, etc. having reached proportions never heard of — it is called climate change and we are responsible — all of us.

Donald Trump had five children with three different women. When wife No. 3 had his son, Donald was romping with a pornstar and paid her $130,000 to keep quiet. I question what “God” was whispering in his ear during that episode in his life. I saw pictures of wife No. 3 wearing a coat to visit the children at the border that said “I really don’t care — do you?” Showed a lot of class! Let us not forget the “Be Best” program of wife No. 3. She married a bully who uses Twitter to name-call and belittle people who disagree with him.

Donald Trump is going to be 73 years old, but his behavior is an embarrassment to this country. He was a failure at business with six bankruptcies and many, many lawsuits. He tells Americans he wants to make consumer goods in the United States, but he and his daughter have their products made in other countries, mostly China.

Nobody is about the law including this president.

I am not sure why there is a need to separate us — left/right — sheep/goats, whatever. We are people who love our country. We need leaders to respect all of us. That starts at the top.
