Weather permitting, local racing continues this weekend in Central PA. Selinsgrove Speedway is scheduled to open a new era today. The new Selinsgrove Speedway promotional team includes Alan Kreitzer, Steve Inch and Michael Heffner. The 2016 dirt track racing season is under way in the United States. Former NASCAR and World of Outlaws champion Dave Blaney wasted no time returning to the winners circle in Florida sprint car action. Blaney now pilots the Motter Motorsports No. 71 driven last year by Joey Saldana. Thursday evening Blaney didn't just win, he was in fact dominate. The Ohio native blistered Volusia Speedway Parks 1/2 mile oval with a one lap time of 12.831 seconds.
