Once again weather may impact area racing. No wonder - it's NASCAR week at Pocono.Is it me or does it seem to rain consistently when the Cup cars comes to Pennsylvania? Weather continues to disrupt area racing.Lincoln Speedway was forced to utilize a rain date Thursday for the annual World of Outlaws visit. Donny Schatz held off Danny Dietrich at Lincoln for the win.The Outlaws moved on to Williams Grove Speedway last night and are scheduled to be there again tonight. This weekend can be termed a tuneup for area race teams.The World of Outlaws invade Central Pennsylvania next week and local racers' preparations are underway. Williams Grove Speedway's race Friday was run with an Outlaw-type format.Lincoln Speedway is in action this evening preparing for next Wednesday night's Outlaws visit. The midweek program is a sprint car-only event and carries a Thursday night rain date.
