Babe Ruth will honor teams on Sunday

MILROY — The Mifflin County 15-16-year-old Babe Ruth team will be honored with a parade Sunday from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. that will end at the Armagh Memorial Field. Mifflin County was the Mid-Atlantic Regional champion and finished second in the nation and third in the international competition. The league also announced that it will have its annual regular season award ceremony on Sunday at 5:30 p.m., also at the Armagh Memorial Field. ROSEMONT, Ill. – Graduate student Charlotte Costich and senior Nick Sloff of the Penn State cross country team were tabbed Big Ten Runners to Watch, as announced by the conference on Wednesday afternoon. Charlotte Costich Costich is coming off a strong 2025 campaign in which she was a scoring runner in each of the six meets she competed in. LEWISTOWN — Now that the Babe Ruth 15-16-year-old World Series is over, the statistics for the Mifflin County players can be put in the history books. Mifflin County was 6-1 in the World Series finishing second in the United States and third in the International competition.
