LEWISTOWN -- Mifflin County golf competed Wednesday in their final match of the season at Lewistown Country Club against Bellefonte. This match was in a different format than most matches. This was match play where 12 points are up for grabs. In the end Bellefonte won the match 9-3. Earning points for Mifflin County were Chase Krepps, winning his match 1up. HARRISBURG — The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission has announced that public boat docks at the Mangan Cove Access on Lake Wallenpaupack, Wayne County, will be removed during the week beginning Sept. 28, 2026. While docks are typically removed from this location each fall in preparation for winter, the removal is happening earlier than normal due to low water levels associated with a partial drawdown underway at Lake Wallenpaupack. Dependent upon a return to normal water levels and local weather conditions, docks are anticipated to be re-installed in late-March 2027.
