MILROY -- The Mifflin County 15-16-year-old Babe Ruth team will be honored with a parade Sunday from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. that will end at the Armagh Memorial Field. Mifflin County was the Mid-Atlantic Regional champion and finished second in the nation and third in the international competition.
The league also announced that it will have its annual regular season award ceremony on Sunday at 5:30 p.m., also at the Armagh Memorial Field.
Beaver Springs, the league champs, will receive its championship trophy.
The individual awards also will be given out, Most Valuable Player and top hitter, Colton Aumiller of Beaver Springs and Haven Bridge, also of Beaver Springs, the top pitcher.
There will be two John Howe-Danon Beaston Sportsmanship awards presented to Luke Hale of Belleville and one to the Strodes Mills team.
