By RAY WILDE Sports correspondent MCVEYTOWN – Belleville scored two unearned runs in the top of the seventh Monday to edge McVeytown, 11-9, in the only game played in the Mifflin County Babe Ruth League. McVeytown didn’t give up a hit in the seventh, but had three walks, two errors and a wild pitch that scored a run. Mason Joyce got the win for Belleville in relief. MANCHESTER, NH – Trailing 3-2 entering the ninth inning, The Curve rallied for six runs in the top of the ninth to earn an 8-3 win over the New Hampshire Fisher Cats on Tuesday night. Beaver Springs and Burnham squared off in a pitching duel with Springs coming out on top 5-1. Beaver Springs now holds the top spot in the Mifflin County Babe Ruth League with a 7-1 record.
