Springs uses long ball to beat Milroy, 17-4

But, on Tuesday night at the Armagh Memorial Field, Beaver Springs hit four of them in a 17-4 win over Milroy. The game ended after five innings due to the 10-run rule. For Beaver Springs, the win was an important one as it now has a two-game lead over Reedsville in the Mifflin County Babe Ruth pennant race. Akron routs Curve, 14-6

AKRON, OH. – Javier Rivas and Duce Gourson both hit ninth-inning home runs for Altoona on Tuesday night, but the Curve dropped their series opener at Akron, 14-6, at 7 17 Credit Union Park.
