Maradiaga goal powers Juniata booters to win
MIFFLINTOWN – A goal by Anthony Maradiaga at the 4:58 mark of the second half proved to be the difference as the Juniata Indians picked up a 1-0 victory over Mifflinburg in non-league soccer action on Saturday.
The assist on the goal went to Arthur Hazard as Juniata improved to 14-2-1.
The Indians outshot Mifflinburg 12-3 and held an 11-2 advantage in corner kicks. Juniata goaltender Nolan Imes made six saves.

Landis scores twice
to tame Camp Hill
MIFFLINTOWN – Mylee Landis scored a pair of goals and Emerson Freed added another as Juniata blanked Camp Hill 3-0 in non-league soccer action on Saturday.
Assists on the goals went to Landis, Thea Beward and Sara Montoya. In goal, Yaa Serwaa recorded eight saves for the Indians.
Juniata (10-6) outshot Camp Hill 8-4 and led the Lions 2-0 in corners.

ORBISONIA – Hannah Graybill racked up eight service points, four aces and two kills, but it wasn’t enough as Juniata got swept by Southern Huntingdon in non-league volleyball action on Saturday. The Rockets won the match by the scores of 25-19, 25-21 and 25-17.
Miley Hack had nine digs and three service points for the Indians (13-8), Hope Kehler registered three digs and six service points and Mariska Whitesel added four kills, one ace, six assists and four service points for Juniata.
