Today’s problems same as those of past

To the editor: There are many excuses given for the problem in our nation and the world today. Economy, inflation, national and world leadership, etc., I find that the problem today is the same problem that started with Adam. Man was created with the ability to serve and obey God (Eccl.7:29) but he chose not to. When Adam chose to eat the forbidden fruit he chose to be his own God and not to serve the true God. To the editor: It is a great pleasure to thank so many people for their volunteerism and contributions to the Reedsville Community Association’s sixth annual Apple Festival held on Sept. 17. Many people help bring the day’s events together with planning and hands on work. The snitzing crew included Dave, Jeff, Neil, Leonard, Missy, Carol, Ruth, Keri, Valeria, Sid, Teri, Jim and Jan. Biden did not cause inflation

To the editor, This letter is in response to Patrick Buchanan’s editorial that appeared in The Sentinel on Tuesday, Oct. 4. In it, he claims that President Biden and the Democrats in the House and Senate have “run up inflation, that cancer of America’s currency to 8%.” While government spending may be partially to blame for inflation in the United States it is not the main cause.
