To the editor:

Mr. Becht, I would like to report an assault on conservative reality. This happened in the Lewistown Sentinel on Jan. 24. Who is really in denial?

Reality. Pumping about $6 trillion into the U.S. economy over COVID is the biggest reason for our current rise in inflation and our economic catastrophe.

Reality. The murder rate in the United States is up 30%. Liberal defund the police is the root cause. The men and women in blue no longer have the confidence of their public to support them. Now they hesitate instead of acting on crime. Forget gun control. How many lives have been lost to defund police policy change?

Reality. I went to Walmart and the shelves are full, however prices are way up. I saw a beef brisket top end price $22.96 per pound! Regular steak price $10.89 per pound. Spam for the moment is affordable.

Reality. The FBI is conducting investigations on parents who want to prevent their children from being indoctrinated to theories that are geared for college educated minds. No one can outlaw CTR, it’s free speech. Teaching it to children in my mind is criminal! This is so unbelievable! If a parent threatens a school board member over mentally abusing their children, are they criminals? Do we need the FBI to investigate? We have local police for that! Calling in the FBI is like calling in the Gestapo! Someone wants to make being a concerned parent a crime!

I will counter you on every assertion you have, Mr Becht. It is you who has no sense of reality. Biden and his policies are a complete failure. His approval ratings are now below Trump’s! Biden was able to do this on his own without the aid of a witch hunt or impeachments.

The numbers are coming out on States who treated COVID differently. The reality is there is not much difference between hard and soft COVID restriction. America was run into the economic ground with bad COVID policies.

The lesson here is that the American people will not be bullied and herded like sheep. The reality is we will all pay much more for Biden and his liberal administration’s policies and mistakes.

It’s bad out there in America, Mr Becht. I can understand you not wanting to admit it.
