Use the Constitution to regain our country

To the Editor:

After reading what I believe is a well-written and spot-on letter from Fredrick Ciercierski, I felt compelled to respond. As the wife of a military veteran who served for 22 years and ultimately gave his life for his country, I can no longer call myself a proud American. I still fly the flag, but I do so in honor of my husband and in honor of our children and grandchildren who followed in his footsteps and served, or are currently serving, in the military. I most certainly do not fly it in support of this administration. In my opinion, corruption runs rampant from the Oval Office on down. When my husband joined the military, he pledged an oath to the Constitution. Not to a political party, not to a president, and not to a group of people who, I believe, are morally and ethically unfit to serve as representatives to “We The People.” I would like to see us try to use that Constitution to remove them from office, and in my opinion, regain our country.
