Judy I. Sieber

Born June 6, 1949, in Tatesville, Bedford County, she was the daughter of the late LeRoy and Vera (Middleton) Sparks.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Donald “Donnie” Sieber, whom she married Dec. 28, 1966; one daughter, Cathy L. Ebersole, and husband, Neil, of Mifflintown; one son, Mark Sieber, and wife, Susan, of Port Royal; two grandchildren, Jenna Sieber and Jeremy Sieber; one brother, Ronald Sparks, and wife, Anna, of Thompsontown; her sister-in-law, Donna Sparks, of Thompsontown, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Wendy Sieber, and one brother, James L. Sparks.

Judy was a homemaker. She also worked at local sewing factories, at the IGA and Weis stores, and drove bus for Juniata County Headstart.

She attended Faith Bible Church and was a member of Walker Grange.

She enjoyed crocheting afghans, canning, taking care of her home and especially spending time with her family.

Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 3, 2019, at Faith Bible Church, Port Royal, with Dr. Glen Webb officiating. Interment will be in Thompsontown Lutheran Cemetery.

There will be a visitation from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the services on Thursday, at the church.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Faith Bible Church, 317 4th St., Port Royal, PA 17082.
